The Meivertor Starter Kit includes a reusable, stainless steel handle, 100 pairs of single-use disposable tips, and printed instructions, giving you everything needed to perform single-handed eversion of the upper or lower eyelid.

We offer free shipping within the continental U.S. and throughout Canada, with accelerated shipping available for an additional fee. Orders are typically processed within two business days and shipped from our warehouse Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays. Orders generally arrive within 2–7 business days. The Meivertor Handle is covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects or accidental damage. If a warranty issue occurs, we’ll work with you to repair, replace, or refund the handle as appropriate. Single-use disposable tips are not covered under the warranty.

Single-Use Disposable Tips are sanitized during manufacturing and secured with a safety seal. If the safety seal is not intact, do not use the tips, and contact us for assistance.

Meivertor is a single-handed eyelid eversion tool designed to simplify meibography and other clinical procedures requiring upper and lower lid eversion.

We have effectively utilized it with all of the meibographers.

Meivertor is used for eyelid eversion by grasping the eyelashes on the upper lid. It should not be used to grasp the lid itself, so it cannot be used on a patient who does not have eyelashes.

While patients who have very tight lids and few or short eyelashes can be more difficult, we have never had a patient with lashes whose lid could not be everted. In all cases, the Meivertor is more effective than the traditional two-handed method.

The system includes a stainless-steel handle and 100 single-use disposable silicone tips (sold separately or as a starter kit).

Learning to use Meivertor single-handedly requires a very short learning curve and can be accomplished by technicians or clinicians within a few trials. If your clinic finds it challenging, we can schedule a Zoom training session with your team. Simply contact info@meivertor.com.

Yes, you can sanitize the handle by immersing it in or wiping it down with Isopropyl alcohol, then allowing it to air dry before using it again. You can also use an autoclave to clean the handle. However, if used correctly, the handle will not come into contact with the patient, and you won’t need to clean between patients.

The most significant difference is that Meivertor is designed to be used with one hand, leaving the second hand free for clinical procedures. Q-tips use a two-handed method.
